Joining our farmers market means joining a collective effort to improve food access for Bloomington.
We accept applications during the summer of each year, and make our decisions by early fall. We have a few different categories of vendors, outlined below, that allow us to create a diverse market of goods.
Categories of Vendors
A Farmer is defined as one who grows produce, animal products, or other agricultural products in Indiana.
A Prepared Food vendor is defined as one who prepares food from scratch using ingredients that he/she has not grown or raised.
An Exotic Food vendor is defined as one who raises, produces or catches food outside of Indiana.
An Other vendor is defined as one who sells soap, crafts, pet foods, or items appropriate to the mission of the market.
